IEEE 802.16's Network Management Task Group: 802.16k Project

IEEE 802.16's Network Management Task Group (NetMan) is chartered to develop a series of standards as amendments to IEEE Std 802.16 (and, in this case, to IEEE Std 802.1D).

This page documents the activities of the Task Group in developing IEEE 802.16k.

On 22 March 2007, the IEEE-SA Standards Board approved IEEE Std 802.16k-2007 ("Standard for Local and Metropolitan Area Networks: Media Access Control (MAC) Bridges - Amendment 2: Bridging of IEEE 802.16") as an amendment to IEEE Std 802.1D. Publication is in process.
